Throwing in the towel

Man, it has been a while since I posted anything here, hasn't it? And truth to tell, there hasn't been much to say, either. I'm still on that hamster wheel, subbing during the day and tutoring in the evenings. Now, to take up more time, I'm also seeing a career counselor. Yup, I've decided that I can't be a teacher anymore. I haven't been enjoying it for some time, I can't even get a job, and I don't want to wait until spring to try again with no guarantees of success. So I'm throwing in the towel and seeing what else is out there. I'm both disappointed and relieved.
