Got back to work yesterday, with an elementary PE job. The poor guy I was filling in for got pink eye on the second day of school! Still, that's good news for me. It's a good thing this guy has trained his students so well, because even though it was the first day of PE for the year for many of them, they were very well-behaved and took directions extremely well.
And now for a change of pace: this article from The Seattle Times talks about some of the new schools built in the area, and the exciting building techniques and technology they have. Wow! I hope I get a chance to work in a school like this some day.
