My wife is at the school board meeting tonight. She called me right before it started and said she had signed up to speak. I'm suddenly a bit frightened...

Bio
Eric Gjovaag, often known to his students as Mr. G, grew up on Bainbridge Island. He considered journalism as a career in college, but education won out in the end, and after attaining his degree he spent twelve years working as a substitute teacher in districts around the Seattle area. This blog is his journal of his experiences, sharing his successes, discoveries, and other random thoughts. Eric is an acknowledged Wizard of Oz expert and runs his own website on the subject. He's married to Laura, who has her own blog, and helps maintain this one.
